Book Covers
At University of Iowa in my Visual Communication and Design, we were tasked with creating symmetrical and asymmetrical book covers from our favorite books. I choose the book "People We Meet on Vacation" by Emily Henry. In this project skills of Layout and composition foundation were used. For context, using grids, fonts, composition & visually compelling techniques were all used. The platform used to create these visuals was photoshop, as we showed off the skills we developed in this semester.
Case Study Emails
Emails created w/ Figma
In my class called Visual Communication and Design we were tasked with using a platform called Figma. In order to create emails (advertisement) for a hypothetical dance event. We used things such as graphs, lines, and fonts in order to create an engaging and persuasive appearance to the audience. One of the key skills that was noted in this project was the alignment, sizing, and spacing of how we formatted the emails. The information provided on the images were already prewritten scripts that was given to us, in order to create this assignment.
